She is registered as a Practitioner Clinical Psychologist with the Health Care Professions Council. In addition to a Doctorate in Clinical Psychology she holds a degree in Psychology from the university of Plymouth.
Dr Marlow is a Principal Clinical Psychologist specialising in adult autism and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) service, working with young adults who have complex psychological mental health difficulties in addition to neuro-developmental conditions. Prior to this, Dr Marlow worked within an adult mental health team offering intensive therapy for those with severe and enduring mental health difficulties. She is currently developing advanced skills in Cognitive-Analytic Therapy (CAT) which focuses upon peoples coping styles and the patterns of behaviour that emerge when these coping styles no longer support the person. Dr Marlow has considerable expertise in working with clients who have experienced many different forms of trauma. This includes working with parents of children who have survived brain injury and working with adults who have survived injury themselves.
